 Microimage won a Special Gold Award for Localization in the
category of Government and Services at the National Best Quality
Software Awards held recently. This recognition came through NICE
(National ICT Excellence Program) and BCS which jointly organized
the Awards. The solution "ePost" was nominated as a Best e-inclusion
example for the WSIS World Summit Awards which will be held in
Geneva, Switzerland later this year. Microimage is the leading local
language solution provider with range of off the shelf software

achievement of its continuous R&D efforts in the area of local

Holdings switch to Microimage Time Attendance and Payroll Software.
MAS Sara Lee cluster plants which switch to the solution includes
Slim line, Casual Line, Leisure line, Linea Clothing-Maldives,
Unichela and Courtaulds Clothing. Some of the factories are already
live and others are under parallel run where Microimage team did a
fast track technical implementation within a record time of 2 months
in all the factories. The components include industry leading
attendance software Ontime 2003 Enterprise Edition and Salary 2003
Enterprise Edition. All factories will go Live with fully integrated
solution from January 2004. Further the system will be integrated to
other ERP systems and Production systems in near future.

represent the Sri Lankan delegation to ASOCIO ICT Summit in Hanoi,
Vietnam this month. The Sri Lankan delegation includes 8 software
companies together with key personnel from the software industry
such as Software Exporters Association, SLASI, Infotel and BOI.
Microimage has plans for regional presence in near future and this
paves the way to establish the potential business partnership which
