Case – Dynamic work environment

DTL was Microimage’s first HRIS client and the first ever Sri Lankan company to implement a web based employee self service (ESS) portal which was designed and developed by Microimage back in 2001. The challenge we face with DTL is that it is the most dynamic company in the country operating 24x7 with requirements that continuously change to accommodate its exponential growth. Microimage has been streamlining and managing Dialog’s biggest asset, the human capital, for the past 8 years by making its HRIS as flexible and adaptable as possible to assist that growth. In the recent past Microimage introduced a Mobile component to its ESS as a way of utilizing its infrastructure to accommodate people who work on the go or work in remote locations to stay connected to the HRIS system from any location.

Another challenging task was the implementation of its performance management system that caters multiple appraisals for a given year and also integrates to the Training and Development module and other third party applications to finally arrive at the final year end appraisal.
