Expo Freight India has a fast-paced operation geographically spread widely in whole of India serving a wide range of clients across the globe. The key challenge for Microimage in implementing the HRIS was the difference in local statutory requirements based on different declarations and legislations which are specific to each region. Hence, the first phase was analyzing the specific statutory requirements such as government declarations related to TDS (Income Tax), LTA calculations, salary, benefits and other connected legislations based on different regions. The line of communication and decision making is based on matrix reporting structure as the Regional Director of the respective region is empowered to take timely decisions, though the required feedbacks are been delivered through the functional heads at corporate office. As a result, modules such as performance management module needed a different approach which is usually not supported in many mid market HCM solutions.
Further to this, Expo India required an effective performance management system which is accessible by all levels of the organization from the corporate management to the lower operation levels which includes office assistants and support staff. Our flexible performance appraisal templates backed by multi faceted user interfaces in different modes like employee self service portal, multi lingual KIOSK and mobile interfaces fulfilled this requirement to the satisfaction of employees at all levels.
