This year we mark 20 years since we founded Microimage. Microimage was started as a hobbyists computer club by like minded group of school students back in 1992.
It was registered as a partnership in 1994 as Microimage Computer Systems and later was incorporated as a limited liability corporate entity in 1995 as Microimage (Private) Limited.
We started Microimage during one of the most challenging times in Sri Lanka where there was absolutely no ecosystem for technology startups in the country unlike today. From our humble beginnings we’ve been able to build a business overcoming numerous challenges over the past 20 years. Today, we are a group of companies with 3 subsidiaries including one JV in Malaysia + An associate company with our own investment.
